Lead Data Analytics Engineer

### Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data & Analytics Engineer with 10+ years of experience to support web and data-driven applications across Global Medical Data and Analytics team. This role is suited for professionals with Technical Lead experience to partner with business on requirements, develop prototypes, proof of concepts, design and develop integration and data pipelines, analytics solutions and engage with validation engineers, product owners, architects, and the development team. The role focuses on delivering Analytics and Strategic Insights capabilities across the Global Medical business organization. ### Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data integration solutions for Global Medical teams to enable actionable insights. - Collaborate closely with business partners to understand requirements and gaps; design integrated solutions, quick POCs, and perform ad-hoc data analysis using dimensional data models. - Aid the development platform team with backend infrastructure design and integrated views using AWS, Databricks notebooks with Python, SQL, and Node.js. - Drive innovation in data analytics by introducing advanced techniques (e.g., AI, predictive analytics, dynamic storytelling) to highlight trends. - Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, and business teams to streamline workflows. - Stay updated with emerging trends and advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge tools. - Ensure adherence to Agile principles, track sprint progress, identify risks, and remove blockers. - Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency. ### Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong experience in Agile/Scrum practices, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies. - Experience in requirements gathering and documentation. - Working knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Databricks or similar) including monitoring and troubleshooting. - Strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and take on additional responsibilities. - Ability to lead business requirements effectively and bridge gaps between business, testing, and delivery teams. - Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ### Nice to Have - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in life sciences or healthcare. - Experience managing global data projects in a matrixed organization. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integration of data visualization solutions. - Familiarity with test management or defect tracking tools.
