Senior Full-stack Engineer

### Overview Dynamic Yield by Mastercard is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to join our team in Lisbon and help build innovative and inspiring end-user experiences. The role requires a collaborative mindset, a motivated spirit, and the experience to repeatedly innovate solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable real-time systems. ### Role Responsibilities - Collaborate with the team to define software requirements and specifications. - Design and implement low-latency, event-driven and scalable applications to analyse multiple data sources using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Debugging meaningful technical issues inside a very deep and complex technical stack involving Docker, micro services, etc. - Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to software development best practices. - Maintain a quality-focused approach with a clear sense of ownership and reliability. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development. ### Required Skills and Experience - +5 years of backend development experience, primarily with JavaScript, preferably Node and React. - Strong technical skills and a passion for developing features end-to-end. - Understanding of product and a passion for building software that provides a great experience. - Experience in designing, developing, and testing scalable distributed systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Familiarity with both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases like Redis, DynamoDB, and Postgres. - Experience with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes. - Experience with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or streaming technologies like Kafka. - Experience with AWS cloud technologies and administration such as S3, EC2, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch. - Good English, both written and spoken, is a must.
