Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Isovalent (part of Cisco) is seeking a technical lead to join our core Cilium team. You will be responsible for designing and developing core parts of Cilium's agent and datapath. This role involves mentoring team members and contributing to the advancement of Kubernetes and eBPF networking.

Job Details
### Responsibilities:
+ Developing high-quality golang and eBPF code for the Cilium OSS/Enterprise and golang ebpf library, while following open source development principles and best practices
+ Technical guidance and mentorship
+ Active participation in the open-source community
+ Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired)
### Minimum Qualifications:
+ Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years of experience with golang, C, and some eBPF knowledge
+ Experience in Linux systems design and networking
+ Experience with Kubernetes
+ Experience in technical leadership roles
### Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Cilium K8s CNI
+ 3+ years of experience writing eBPF programs
+ Desire to write high quality and efficient code
+ Previous experience in tech lead roles
+ A public track record of open-source code commits
+ Experience in public speaking at technical open source conferences
