Job Summary
Cisco Isovalent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to specialize in developer experience, CI/CD, and AI-assisted tooling. The role involves architecting solutions for networking and security within Kubernetes environments. You will collaborate on technical documentation, architectural reviews, and operational improvements.
Responsibilities

Required Skills
- 6+ years experience in software engineering
- Expertise in Cloud operations and CI/CD
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages
- Experience with Kubernetes and automation
- Knowledge of Go (preferred)
Job Details
Responsibilities:
+ Architect and Develop AI assisted tooling to support and improve developer experience.
+ Collaborate in code reviews, architectural discussions, customer support escalations, and contribute to comprehensive technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Computer Science degree, or related fields.
+ 6+ years of relevant experience.
+ Proven experience in architecture and delivery, or senior consulting.
+ Expertise in operations, including onboarding applications onto the Cloud and implementing CI/CD.
+ Experience coding with any high-level programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Desire to write high quality code (automation and Kubernetes operators). Go is preferred.
+ Previous contributions to open source projects.
